In terms of diver training, there is very little difference. Both follow the standards set by the World Recreational Scuba Training Council (WRSTC). This means that nowledge and skill reqremtnet are almost the same. Certifications from one agency to the other are interchangeable and recognized worldwide.
With the Theory/Knowledge Development out of the way, it's time to head out to El Nido for the Confined Water and Open Water portion (2 days) of the course and have some fun!
